Illustration of the 1948 MG TC, one of the most beloved post-war British sports cars. With its classic wire wheels, low-slung body, and open cockpit, the MG TC introduced many American drivers to European-style motoring. Though right-hand drive only, its charm and handling made it a favorite in the U.S. and Europe alike.
This illustration was part of a larger commission: the design and cover artwork for the official booklet of the 25th Venniper Koninginnerit — one of the largest classic car rallies in the Netherlands. Over 120 cars took part in the 2024 edition, celebrating both the event’s anniversary and its passion for automotive heritage.
Fun fact: The MG TC helped kickstart the U.S. sports car movement — and the 2024 rallye booklet marked the very first public appearance of The Iron Badger, featured on both the front and back cover.
