Hi, I’m Tom Winter — a 31-year-old illustrator, designer and marketer.
After 10 years of working in marketing and design, I realized I didn’t want to be just another designer cranking out polished, generic work. So I started my own creative studio.
I grew up in motorcycle and classic car culture and launched motorcycledrawing.com in 2017, where I create custom portrait illustrations of motorcycles.
It didn’t take long to notice that creative decisions came naturally — I simply made what I would like myself. With that mindset, I founded The Iron Badger.
My work is inspired by motorcycle and classic car culture, vintage signage, rock and metal music, old-school printing techniques, and pretty much anything from before the ‘70s and ‘80s.
I mainly work with companies, events, collectors, garages, blogs and enthusiasts within the motorcycle and classic car scene. But I also create artwork and design for beer brands, restaurants, apparel stores, vinyl shops, band cover art, music venues — and other like-minded souls.

Why the Iron Badger?
Once upon a time in a world of perfect pixels and lifeless machines, there was a soul who refused to blend in.
He sought character over perfection, craftsmanship over mass production and a story behind every line he drew.
He was not just an artist – he was a gatherer, a craftsman and a seeker of forgotten beauty.
Every artist needs a name, a symbol of their journey. And so, in the quiet of the night, with ink stained hands and a restless mind, he forged his new identity:

Iron

Nocturnal: working in the silence of night, while the world sleeps, he brings idea’s to life.
Digger: inspiration is burried deep, but the badger finds what other overlook.
Hermit: content in solitude, thriving in his own world.
Solitairy: a lone traveler on a creative journey.
Courage & tenacity: fearless, relentless, never backing down. The Badger does not shy away from a challenge.
Determination & resilience: no matter the obstacle, he keeps pushing forward.
Black & white: a stark contrast, a clear vision, no grey area, only bold choices.
Territorial: defending his craft, his ideas, his space. The world is full of imitators, but the badger stands his ground.
And so, The Iron Badger sets out on his journey. Not to follow trends, but to bring back the past. The raw edges, the imperfect beauty, the soul in design. To reignite character in a world that had forgotten the art of craftsmanship.
